Where's the bear?

We went for a hike up the Diaz Vista trail at Buntzen lake today. We had to detour to get to the trailhead because there were signs and trail-blocks everywhere saying that a bear had been spotted in the area. Great!

The hike itself was good. We'd done it several times before but this was the first time this year... and when I checked out the stats online afterwards, websites seemed to indicate the elevation gained was equivalent to having done 1/3 of the Grand Canyon hike. Not bad!!

This is not the normal viewpoint, but a hidden one off to the side that Andrew knew about. Someone had labelled it quite appropriately :)

On the way down some people said they had seen the bear off to the side of the trail, so we prayed really hard and made a lot of noise and didn't see it at all. Thank goodness.
