Berry Picking

Tamara and I went berry-picking after work, at a farm only a 10 minute drive from my house.

The only thing open for customers was the raspberry field, which suited me just fine because I love raspberries. It was nearing the end of the raspberry season so we had to hunt high and low for what was left of the crop.

On the vine. Or branch. Or whatever the plant-name is that raspberries grow on...

Quite the haul in this particular area.

I think the last time I picked any fruit was in Kelowna with my grandparents, about 10 years ago (when they were visiting from Australia). Happy memories!

Our final lot of raspberries... and now on to home, to separate them and freeze them and enjoy later with ice cream!
