Day trip to Harrison
Right before Thanksgiving we headed out to Harrison Lake to see the end of their sand sculpture-building competition. We stopped first at Limbert Mountain Farm, though, which is on the Agassiz-Harrison Circle Farm Tour route, and was recommended by some friends.
I suspect that this guy knew what holiday it was because he was in an awful mood and hissed his head off at everyone.
I've never before seen such a fantastic selection of different types of squash.
Andrew found a dog for me to visit with :)
After visiting a cheese shop (with the most delicious gouda I've ever tasted!), also on the Circle Farm tour, we drove the final few kilometres to the lake.

awesome photos! i was out that way in Sept and it was amazing! sand sculptures are amazing and def something to see in person. didn't see any pumpkins tho :( i love the circle farm, i've been thinking that next time i'm out there i will def have to do a tour! love their cheeses, did you try their cheesecake?? sooo delish!
