Day trip to Harrison

Right before Thanksgiving we headed out to Harrison Lake to see the end of their sand sculpture-building competition. We stopped first at Limbert Mountain Farm, though, which is on the Agassiz-Harrison Circle Farm Tour route, and was recommended by some friends.

I suspect that this guy knew what holiday it was because he was in an awful mood and hissed his head off at everyone.

I've never before seen such a fantastic selection of different types of squash.

Andrew found a dog for me to visit with :)

After visiting a cheese shop (with the most delicious gouda I've ever tasted!), also on the Circle Farm tour, we drove the final few kilometres to the lake.

Here are a few of the impressive sand sculptures that were on display....

Are you a photographer extraordinaire or what? Love the flower photo and the pics of the sand castles.
